Tara and Nina met in the throes of parenting when their kids attended the same cooperative preschool in Watertown, Mass. Their contrasting personalities and life experiences led to rich conversations on parenting topics. These conversations--and a mutual love of lists--inspired this book. Tara and Nina each brought to this project what they bring to their friendship: Tara--creativity, calm, and a few more years of the parenting road behind her; Nina--enough energy for everyone, and the uncanny ability to ask good questions and get stuff done. In her rare spare time, Nina works hard to stay in touch with friends and family, hunts for bargains, and thinks about lunch while she's having breakfast and dinner while she's having lunch. Tara is happiest when she's heading out for a run, whipping up hearty vegetarian creations, or scouting out local haunts for great live music. They both "say yes when they can" in the greater Boston area, where each lives with her husband and three children.
